ADAM PARROTT Whether it's keeping the blues
alive with lowcountry legend Shrimp City Slim, or
lending a hand with local folk and fusion projects,
Adam Parrott has quickly made an impact on the
Charleston music scene.

With an arts degree in percussion performance,
he began studying with Charleston legend Quentin
Baxter, and is a regular in the C of C music
programs.

Originally from Pittsburgh, he trained as an audio
engineer at the Mr. Smalls Creative Life Support
Center and Concert complex.  There he drew
inspiration from venue regulars; Rusted Root, and
Pittsburgh perspective legends Andy Warhol, and
Frank Lloyd Wright. As a member of the Eye Level
Art team, he plans on continuing to advocate
innovation and adventure in music for the masses.

Adam joined Flamenco Soltado as its
percussionist in the fall of 2009.
