MOLLY MCGUIRE began dancing at the New Studio of Dance in Asheville,
North Carolina t the age of 4. She became a member of the Asheville
Contemporary Dance Theater Jr.  Company in 2004 where she was trained in
modern dance.

Molly was first introduced to Flamenco through a workshop
taught by April Points. From then on, Molly maintained her
role as an apprentice to ACDT while also taking
Flamenco classes. In 2006 Molly began teaching
a  children’s Flamenco class at the New Studio
of Dance.

Throughout her dance career Molly has extensively
studied under April Points and Jose de Guadalupe of
“Flamenco Arts.” She has also participated in  workshops
taught by Gloria de Jerez, Cihtli Ocampo “La Gallardi,”
and Ethan Margolis.

Molly is currently a student at the  College of Charleston where she
is pursuing a degree in psychology with a minor in dance.  She
has been dancing with Flamenco Soltado  since autumn  of 2009.
